What Are RHA Collection Fillers?

RHA stands for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid. These fillers are scientifically formulated to create more natural results and last longer compared to other hyaluronic acid fillers. RHA fillers can be used to soften wrinkles and fine lines or restore lost volume in the face due to aging. The filler collection is intended to look natural and flawless as you move and express yourself, as the hyaluronic acid more closely mimics natural hyaluronic acid found within your skin.

There are three products within the RHA Collection.

• RHA 2, a softer filler with more stretch designed to be injected deeper into the dermis to treat moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds
• RHA 3, a stronger, firmer option with less stretch designed for dynamic wrinkles like nasolabial folds
• RHA 4, the firmest option, designed to be injected deep into the dermis or superficial subcutaneous tissue for severe wrinkles or folds

What Are RHA Filler Injections Like?

RHA filler injections are much like any other injectable procedure. After determining that you are a suitable candidate, Dr. Saluja’s patient educators, along with Dr. Saluja, will create a treatment plan including choosing the best type of RHA filler for you, the amount of product necessary, and appropriate injection sites. After 30 to 60 minutes of topical numbing, RHA filler can then be injected. Injections can be completed in 10-20 minutes.

On average, patients see results that last for 15 months or longer. When your results begin to subside, you can receive maintenance injections as necessary. During a consultation, Dr. Saluja will explain an appropriate treatment plan, including your expected results and maintenance injections.

How Do RHA Fillers Work?

RHA fillers are composed of a smooth gel containing hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring compound found within the skin which creates a hydrated, firm, and youthful appearance. RHA is designed to more closely mimic natural hyaluronic acid, making it longer-lasting (resilient) and allowing the filler to move more naturally within the skin, enhancing the natural-looking results.

What Can RHA Fillers Treat?

Primarily, RHA fillers are used to treat wrinkles, lips, tear troughs under eyes, folds, or fine lines in areas of high movement in the face, such as nasolabial folds. RHA fillers can be chosen to smooth these lines without impairing movement or creating noticeable, unnatural effects as you talk or express yourself.

Am I a Candidate for RHA Fillers?

Most patients who have signs of aging in dynamic areas of the face, such as the cheeks, nose, or mouth areas or who want natural lip enhancement, are good candidates for RHA fillers.
