How does the Y LIFT differ from other filler and injectable procedures?

The Y LIFT is based on the notion that youthful facial contours are shaped like the letter “Y”. If you were to superimpose two “Y”s over the face you would see that one appears wide at the top, spanning the eye and cheekbone region, while the second spans the entire jawline, both narrow down tot a point culminating at the chin. As we age, the arms of these “Y” shapes begin to widen steadily downward and, as a result, the face beings to lose volume and deflates.

What are some of the advantages of the Y LIFT over more invasive procedures?

NO Surgery, NO Incisions, NO General Anesthesia, NO Stitches, INSTANT Results are the advantages. The key to the Y LIFT is not the fillers, but the specialized instrumentation, placement, and technique. Each Y LIFT procedure that Dr. Saluja performs is fully customized to the individual patient.

The cannula instrument is inserted beneath the skin and then maneuvered throughout designated parts of the facial region to instantly lift and contour the muscles, fascia and fat underlying the skin. Once lifted, hyaluronic acid (found in Juvederm® and Voluma®), a substance that is naturally present in the skin is used to hold the newly elevated position in place at which point the cannula is removed from the treatment site. The rejuvenated face is then “sculpted” to accent and highlight each individual’s beauty.

The Y LIFT is performed under local anesthetic.

Additionally, the Y LIFT has built in safety in that it is one of the few procedures that is completely reversible.

What is my recovery like?

It is not uncommon to have tenderness, soreness, bruising, and swelling. These effects generally subside over the course of 1 to 2 weeks. Refrain from exercise for 1 week.

How long does the effects of the Y LIFT last?

The Y LIFT lasts between 1 and 3 years using only FDA-approved Allergan products. Independent results vary and periodic touch-ups may be recommended.
